I like to brew wine; It's only a hobby but I'm obsessed!
This is the place to be if you want to see what another brewer is up to or want some encouragement to start or diversify. I've posted heaps of recipes (clicky) and 2 wine-making vids (here for wine made from cartons of juice blog / youtube, and here for Blackberry wine on the pulp blog / youtube).

Shufflin' Stuff About

Saturday and Sunday saw an opportunity to get on with moving brews about. The Pomegranate quickie wine was overdue moving to secondary fermentation, i had a sneaky sip, still sweet. A day later and the airlocks are busily blooping. Pic below of the 4 gallons of that brew.

The Green Tea & Ginger was ready for racking, fermentation all but stopped.

Sneaky sip confirmed that. Somewhere I've lost about half a gallon so there's "only" 4.5 gallons of it. I probably just overly trusted the calibration on the fermentation vessel, but it may have been the considerable sediment. Whatever, we'll live!

It's already started clearing, but obviously there is some way to go yet. I've started degassing, and will probably stabilise them in a few days
